Stream Authentication is a feature available for Icecast services that allows you to secure mountpoints. Listeners must pass a verification check to access the stream, making it ideal for a simple pay-for-access setup or filtering based on listener connections.
✅ Enabling Stream Authentication
Enable Support:
Stream Authentication must be enabled by your server administrator.
Go to Service → Configure → Features and turn on Stream Authentication.
Configure Mountpoints:
After enabling Stream Authentication, navigate to the Mountpoint page to enable it for specific mountpoints.
Once Stream Authentication is enabled on a mountpoint, you can use the Stream Auth page to create and manage user logins.
Use the HTML5 player to test and verify that authentication is working.
🎯 Mount Points
